Shery Lim was at the peak of her thirty-year career in advertising when the foundation of her life was greatly shaken. She was diagnosed with fourth stage terminal cancer relapse in February 2006 after twelve years of remission.
During the long treatment process that followed, however, she discovered just how sturdy the Word of God is. As a result, she decided to write the 1st edition of her book even when the scan result was hopeless after her treatment.
As she obeyed God and held on unswervingly to the HOPE she professed, God proved Himself faithful and healed her completely in August 2008. Her latest scan showed she is totally healed.

一个顶着博士光环的福音歌手
毕业於台湾辅仁大学，主修大众传播。在美国完成传播硕士和博士学位，也在芝加哥三一神学院进修神学。目前在本地大学担任教授。她热爱音乐， 擅长钢琴、吉他、竖琴、作曲填词。她曾是“全球华人福音创作”作品得主。受到许多人的肯定和尝试。有着一把感人的声音，虽然她常常都不觉得，但听过她在台上演唱的人无一不赞同。她于2007年荣获马来西亚杰出青年奖。
