The book of Acts is important because it provides us with the authoritative record of the formation of the church and the activities of its main leaders. It is the link between the gospels and the Epistles, for the Gospels look forward to the establishment of the church while the Epistles assume that it already exists. Without Acts, we would not know how the church began.

The book of Acts also tells how the gospel triumphed and spread from Jerusalem to the world.

In this study you will learn:-

1.  The Acts of the Holy Spirit in our lives and how He empowers us.

2.  The Challenges of the Christian life and the challenges that the church faced and the ways to overcome them.

3.  The exploits of the heroic figures of the early Church and how we can emulate them.

Method of Study:-

We will look at the book from a cross sectional approach-different chapters depicting different stages of the church as well as passage to passage so as to learn lessons that are contemporary and relevant to our lives.
